Events that make a visual impact: A taste of Thailand

A while ago we had the privilege of working with M&S and the Royal Thai Government to deliver a campaign to raise awareness of Thai fruit in the UK. With products ranging from drinking coconuts to rambutans, we attended consumer shows, wrote press releases, ran a social media campaign and were also lucky enough to take two influencers for a tour of Thailand, visiting plantations and farms, as well as experiencing some of the sights and historical landmarks that Thailand has to offer.

As part of the campaign we designed and delivered a supper club experience for media representatives, Thai dignitaries and influencers. As with all of our events, the experience, memories and ‘shareability’ of the event was paramount to its success. The experience and memories would make people talk about it and the visual impact would make it shareable. We love this challenge, as it gives us a chance to really work our creative brains and use our imagination.

Working with chef Sebby Holmes from London’s Thai restaurant Farang, we commissioned a tasting menu with multiple flavours and ingredients to excite our guests. We rented the Truman Brewery as our ‘secret location’, accessed through gates and up stairs to add theatre to the event. We hired a carnival company to help us with props and entertainers to enhance the atmosphere and colour surrounding the event. We had live music, a Thai fruit carver and built two Thai fruit carts from scratch, with bespoke canopies, to display fruit carvings and from which to serve drinking coconuts. There was a photobooth with Thai-inspired props where branded photo strips could be posted straight to social media and guests had the opportunity to learn about Thai fruit and its benefits.

If you would like to engage special guests with an event that will educate and inspire, we can help you.
